Early Death and Legal Records From Joseph Franklin's Diary and John Griffin's Sexton Records
- Published 1990 by the Galveston County Genealogical Society, it is 254 pages not including the index.
The first part of the book is devoted to Joseph Franklin's two-volume manuscript (79-0035). They include the years 1828 (while
Texas was a Republic) to 1908. Joseph Franklin was a lawyer from 17 March 1879 until his death, at the age of 76, on 18 November 1908, buried in Galveston, TX. The type of record he recorded in his personal diaries
are
death, power of attorney, and general information.
