This is an original LETTERHEAD.  It's from THE YOAKUM TIMES, W. L. Johnston, Editor and Proprietor, in Yoakum, Texas... "A live paper in a live town" in the year 1896.
The letter is hand written and signed by W. L. Johnston (editor and publisher).
This item is in ok good condition with the upper half of the right side edge being reduced.  This is visible in the scan shown.   This item is SOLD AS IS.   Approximately 8 1/2" X 11" in size. The "EBAY ITEM" thing is just a loose piece of paper and is not attached to this letter.  In Yoakum's early days, it had 2 newspapers.  Today, their newspaper is called the Yoakum Herald Times.   I bet the Herald and the Times were, once, two seperate newspapers that, eventually, merged but, I am not sure.
